Just a quick note that Boardwise will be holding a demo this weekend at Aberdovey.
Also the UKWA are holding the next round of the JP/Pryde slalom series there as well.
Unfortunately it looks like the usual demo weekend forecast.

Did anyone go?
Couldn't get there myself (well the forecast wasn't up to much) so was in the garden today earning a few brownie points but on the top of Y Garn (Snodonia) about miday yesterday there seemed like there would have been enough wind for the slalom to take place and maybe demo some of the bigger Boardwise kit.

Yep, it was a great event.

Although there was not much wind, it was just enough for some low wind round the buoy and back racing. I believe are very own NeilH won it!

The sun was shining, the beach was full of the latest gear, and best of all there was some pretty good surf! I got 4 good sessions in, and with the Saturday night party and live band, was a great weekend.

Good to hear it was a success.
Stu did you go to Tywyn for your surf sessions?

Just in between Tywyn and Aberdovey, place opposite a graveyard. Walk across the golf course and the wooden walkway and theres a couple of fun peaks. Loads of places down that bit of coastline, some good at low tide, some good at high!

You surf?

Yeh, but just a beginer. Youngest son is well into his surfing now though after kicking windsurfing into touch. Been to Tywyn a few times but not been lately as he started uni this year in Cardiff so he spent most of his time at Porthcawl or on the Gower.

Looking for a place to go this September - surfing for him and windsurfing for me. Had almost booked Mauritius but he called that one off - didn't quite feel confident enough for big reef breaks yet.

Choice at the moment is between Portugal, Fuerteventura or Tenerife. Any thoughts on these?
