I've got the sailors logs module NEARLY running.

It's a bit 'no frills' at the moment - I'm more worried about the basic functionality at th emoment, I'll work on the appearance later.



Known issues / to do list

• display full log / equipment info (view option will give error now)
• change date input to dropdowns to stop different formats...
• stop creation of log if user hasn't got one sail and one board in the equipment list - currently it will let you but then gives an error



• work on stats display, i.e. all equipment per user with times used etc..

Let me know of any others.....

OK guys,



Si's worked hard in getting this up and running. How can we expect anyone else to use it if we don't use it ourselves. Lets lead by example.



If you don't like it or feel it needs developing i.e new ideas - just say what you think here - don't just ignore that part of my e-mail (you know who you are !)



Talking of ignoring e-mails - Si what did you think of my Sailors log suggestions ?

First of all I'm struggling to get as much time as I'd like to code but when I do.....



I'll try and get some graphical method of displaying peoples stats up soon - also under view equipment I'll do a 'used x times' for each piece of kit if it's not there already (can't remember if I did that).



I'm also working on the board database - this will take longer than expected as I chose totally the wrong way of doing it and probably need to start again - very frustrating !



Also in the pipeline is a 'knowledge base' - a directory of windsurfing subjects with links to places with information on the site. Image click knowledgebase -> boards -> beginners and it shows links to discussions in the forums, beginners boards classifieds, beginners boards reviews(if we had them) etc.
