Well folks, it's been a while. Just about 17 months since I last got to sail. There are various reasons why which I won't delve into now.
But a lot has happened in that time.
My first attempt back on the water demonstrated just how unfit I am at the mo, so a bit of light wind stuff will be in order so that I can work on technique etc.
One of the huge positives is that when I held my little Skywatch Xplorer2 up to the wind,the windchill showed as 31.6 deg c
Of course my stuff went away dry too.
Woo hoo!
My new playground is Melville Water, for those of you that are interested........

Melville Water! I used to sail there! Where else have you sailed round that way? We used to always sail from Pelican Point, warm, windy, and really flat water... Happy days!

Nowhere else yet. There's time.
I launched from Applecross cos it's 15mins from the house.
Pelican Point would take all of half an hour to get to.
