Do you have your GPSAR software configured with a jpg image of West Kirby? Not worth the effort, when you download the track you can see where you have been.
Do I need the Fortrex configured for West Kirby first, then hook it up to the laptop and run the GPSAR software to calibrate the map? After you session at WK (gps running while out on the water) go home and hook up to your pc, run GPSAR and download your track and check for spikes (managed 1,212 kts in a crash and burn once
)and delete, on the GPSAR screen you will see all your runs so there is no need to use the map. The map will only be for your benefit as the data uploaded is just your best runs.
GPSAR is far from a good piece of software, call it work in progress but once you get to grips with it its not all that bad. Shame the programmers first language is not english as the instructions are far from perfect.
