Been lookin around for a good freeride/bump n jump board for the comin season and reckon the carve 111 looks like a good bet (ive seen a nice 2004 second hand one goin). Any views on this model of board or any other suggestions. I weigh just under 90kgs and am an intermediate sailer, i want it for blasting around on the lake/tide at WK and hopefully some trips to Abersoch! There's so many boards to choose from now, i cant make my mind up!

Not really the type or size of board I use but I have sailed the Carve 111 on holiday a lot and for general blasting about either on the lake or the tide it would be excellent. Top speed when really overpowered is good without bouncing about and trying to trip you up. Even on marginal days I would take the 111 out with an 8m and it would get going just as soon as the 131 but without the extra bulk.
No idea what its like on anything bigger than 12" chop so can't comment on its jumping abilities or how tough it is.
