Sooooooo, it's not been windy for at least a week and I'm starting to get twitchy! So does anyone know of any good wake boarding places around the North West or North Wales. Have found Free Rads in Conwy (why do people have to put crap music on websites?!) but that's about it...

I'm only a beginner so could do with something reasonably cheap too!

There's a cable tow in sheffield - rother valley country park - there should be a review of it on this site - somewhere - it also has its own website. It's wickedly good fun. About £30.00 for as much as yer arms can stand, or £15.00 for an hour or so....

U don't get a wake, which makes it even better cos you can rip it up bigtime - and trust me - if you think that means you won't be getting any air you're mistaken - I've seen guys there clearing 2meters easy - doing railley style spinny stuff - very fancy - takes a bit of practice though - and you can always pop little ollies & do 180s etc off the flat stuff without needing monster air - then there's always the kicker & the rail to play with too.....
