Sailed WK last Thursday and was so ill all weekend.
Something horrible in the water from all the storm water run off? (The dead cow should have been a pointer I guess)?
Or something else I've picked up?
Or I'm just being a wuss

About 6 years ago I worked on a Dosing Plant to neutralise all of the "Agri" chemical run off into the Dee after heavy rainfall, maybe it is broken.

Saw Panorama programme via Surfers Against Sewage site about what happens after a storm with regards to dumping untreated sewage on beaches. There are hundreds if not thousands of these outlets going into even small rivers that discharge onto beaches. And what have we had a lot of recently. Having said that there's a lot of it about.

Stormwater Overflow drain (CSO) is only around the corner from the sailing club (20m's from the lake), nasty looking with tampax's wrapped around the grate
