Nice job on the boom Bert, couldn't have done better myself, except I did only on my knee again!. Well Dinas was a sail, it was possible to get the odd wave ride a few sloppy bottom turns & cut backs, hopefully it'll be better waves tomorrow, Dinas will be on shore again tomorrow. Rhosy is definately the best spot but will be full of Kiteys....Stu will you be there too???

I'm off to Graveyards, could be good if the swell pumps up and the wind stays 5 or more, otherwise it'll be shite, but thats where my money is goin'.

Top tip on Newbouorgh, give it try, but there's better places.

Where ever you get to have a good one!

Jammy gits!

I ended up teaching the police windsurfing after my bro bottled out of coming up North at the eleventh hour!

Think it will be Aliens/Graveyards too tomorrow, just looked at Halo/Theyr and its a good 6 SW maybe SSW later in the afternoon.

Looking good for next week as well, if anyones interested.

Those kiters are a pain in the arse...

Borth was good yesterday too.... well-powered up with a 5.7m... Looks like Wales got the best of it though as the diary entries from Cornwall and the S. Coast showed people out with bigger kit and not enough wind.

Anne Robinson knows nothing!!!

Graveyards???.... Are you talking about Graveyards by Aberdovey? Or another one further north. I can see graveyards (Aberdovey) from here and its looking good. 25 knots SW with some biggish messy surf.

Might make you smile but I've spent the last 2 weeks down in Plymouth with only a few days on the water in flat water NE. Naturally was looking forward to a weekend of SW as forecast, but it was not to be. Spent 3 days mooching round the beach with absolutely nothing happening, to make things more frustrating there was wind everywhere else. Seems Bigbury is surrounded in it's own personal vacuum and now I'm back in the West Midlands far from waves with work to do, just have to find the excuse to sneak off to Rhossy to sate my appetite.

Iain, I don't think you were the only one looking for wind this weekend. It seems as though there was very little all along the S. Coast, and even in S. Wales there was none att all according to the reports I've been getting.

yesterday here was epic though. Blazing sunshine, 6 foot surf and 20+ knots. I had a fantastic session with my 5m and my little wave board. Ended up with an injury thats making walking difficult now though.

Full details here
