11/12 knots. superb day. south / south westerlies. chuffed i chose the 7.5 (down/outhauled to the max), not the 5.9. Race E teaching me to carve gybe...stuff learned: 1) try s turns when planing. 2) how f***g scarey is it to go off full plane into a carve?! race e confirmed you don't slow down b4 you go into it. gulp. i'm going to have to do s turns and one day forget to straighten up again and keep going round. 3) flarve gybes in planing conditions are Funny! i think going into an air and turning up there would be safer and more controlled.
