Taken from second wind website: The beach faces south east so the best wind directions are from the west or the south west - (cross shore from the right). There is a reef just off the beach so sail with caution or get some local advice when you are sailing for the first time. It pays to explore a bit to make the most of the condition in order to get good cross shore jumping waves. Just keep an eye on what the tide and currents are doing. I'll just add this is a powerful and hollow wave on the right day & can be a real kit breaker! For directions, check the map it's just outside Weymouth.
