Wind: The lake itself is quite small, but high up and relatively free from obstructions, so it can g
et quite windy. The main hazards to watch for are rocks by the shore.
Facilities: The lake is open all year round and membership is very reasonable, the club has good facilities including board storage and changing rooms, there is also a caf.
Location: It is just off the A465 in between Tredegar and Merthyr and is signposted.
