    Welcome to iWindsurf.co.uk
If you are new to the site and wondering what it's all about there's an introduction here - I try to keep the front page free for displaying latest additions to our various sections.  In short this website is an online community or portal aimed primarily at UK windsurfers offering discussion forums, classified adverts, picture gallery, sailors logs, web links and occasional news stories (They're a bit like buses Wink).  This is no soap box and we are not selling anything (although you can buy a T-Shirt) so get stuck in.

Located on the Western side of Portugal 30 minutes from Lisbon, this summer time wave spot is not fo r the faint hearted. When the North Westerlies kick in, it results in starboard tack cross-on conditions, resulting in the best backside riding I've seen in Europe, easily holding mast high waves and occasionaly will blow cross-off to give mouth watering conditions. This beach break also turns it on for the surfers on occasion, but watch those crowds on the peak nearest the road. The winds will blow all day and night for about 4 days on, 4 days off, (like Dave Rose's shifts) and you should average out on your 4.7/5.2. Nearby, camping can be done in the Orbitur-Camping, 1 of 2 hotels overlooking the beach, or in your van in one of the car parks. Finally, when the crowds get too much, head to Cascais for a nice day out...
