Some of you may have read n the windsurfing Press recently that a new centre is being opened upo called OTC - The Official Test Centre. Well Boardwise have teamed up with OTC to help promote the launch....... 

THE OFFICIAL TEST CENTRE - OPEN JULY 28TH

The Official Test Centre is a windsurfing centre with a difference. Opening on the 28th July 2006, it is based in the South Bay of El Médano in Tenerife and stocks equipment from each major windsurfing brand in all the key disciplines, from wave to crossover, freestyle to Super-X and freeride.

Consistently offering around 250 days of planing winds each year, Médano has three superb sailing areas, offering coastal freeride conditions to bump & jump and onto a challenging cross-onshore wave sailing arena.

Opening their doors with the latest 2007 kit, the OTC provides the first real opportunity for you to try the boards and sails from each brand for yourself before you decide which one to buy…and all in the relaxed atmosphere of a holiday environment.

And if you fancy going to Tenerife but not necessarily staying in El Medano my parents have an apartment for rent in Los Gigantes - quite commutable if you have a hire car - http://www.losgigantesapartments.com
