After months and months of planning Jane and i are moving to Cornwall in the new year after spending 6 years here in the North West.

We are squeezing in a trip to Western Oz on the way down to miss as much of the UK winter as we can, but no doubt we will be back up to West Kirby on the forecast to put in some speed runs.

I know we will miss the banter of the marine lake car park and also the awesome sailing the North West has to offer but it was an opportunity that could not be turned away.

If anyone is in the area drop me a PM and we'll hook up for a beer/ sail/ catch-up.

When I was younger I always dreamed of emigrating to Australia or at least moving to Cornwall (Penzance or Hayle area) but the closest I've managed is Wrexham

Grats Windy! I'm sure it'll all work out tip top for you - these bold moves usually do! I'm embarking on a similar mission myself, but only as far as north wales and minus the antipodean bit sadly - so I kinda know how u feel.
