The new Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre is now open after redevelopment of over £10mil offering first class facilities at Crosby Marina. The centre offers a gym, bar & bistro (fully open May), accommodation, together with wet area changing. It's a far cry from the old building with crappy/no facilities.
We have relaunched the club and want to encourage all interested parties to get involved as much or little as you would like. It's our intention in the spring/summer/autumn to arrange fun race days/nights with a general get together after wards. On some of those nuclear days speed sailing using GPS tracking.
In addition, lessons will be offered in the near future and it would be great to have our own T15 group similar to the West Kirby set up.
We would value your feedback about what you would like and to this end have created a Facebook page together with basic website, the links can be found below.
It's early days, but if you've put the sport to the back seat over the recent past, why don't you dust down that gear and get it wet again.
