With all the doom and gloom around, the credit crunch, the squeeze on credit and the coldest winter in 13 years I for one am looking forward to the summer, lighter evenings and hopefully warmer so we can get out on the water.
Whilst we have been stuck indoors with the rain lashing down we have been busy looking at ways in which we can promote water sports to a wider audience and this year to bring the community of water sports enthusiasts together we have created a group on the facebook networking site to compliment the main web site.

For those of you who are already facebook members just search under the group area Water Sports Wales and join us.
On the group we have the facility to share photos, let others know what you are up to through the discussion boards plus promote your events to all of the members.
If you are not on the site you can simply go to the home page and in a few minutes create your own account which you can keep your identity secret if you want to and then join us as above.
The main site is still receiving a good volume of traffic and will continue to promote water sports with regular updates and images being done on a monthly basis plus the newsletters either monthly or bi-monthly as appropriate whist also being promoted from the group which will enable us to reach more people.
We look forward to you joining the group and further helping us to promote water sports in Wales.
If your club or company is not listed on the web site directory please let me know so we can get you added.
