The idea of iWindsurf.co.uk is that the content is created and supplied by it's users in a community spirit so that we can all learn from each others experiences, good and bad. In order to make the information you submit easy for others to find and vice versa please try and follow the guidelines below. If you disagree with them or can offer improvements please say so by contacting  Bert or Ernie. Here goes...

• News Article - If you've some interesting news about shops, sailing venues etc. then use this link - please bear in mind this will appear on the front page - (if we approve it !) - so try your best with layout and spelling and be polite ??

• Classifieds - If you've got something to sell or there's something you want.

• Web Links database - If you want to tell everyone about a great site you've found on the internet.

• Venue Reviews database - We'd really appreciate you telling us about somewhere you sail, or add information to someone elses review using the comments. Once a venue is in this database it is also available foruse in the 'Sailors Logs'.

• Sailors Logs  - Add all your equipment. Then tell us how each and every sailing session went. We'll soon have stats for all your, and the communities, sessions too. 

• Calendar - We used to provide a calendar for events etc but found it was rarely used - if you would like to see it reinstated petition us by email.

• Forums - Chatting, saying hello, ranting, raving and general discussion are all catered for.

• Public Gallery  - PICTURES !! Upload your wonderful pictures here. It can be of you or your partner (or anybody for that matter - especially us!) windsurfing for all the site to see. Obviously this can go wrong if people upload HUGE files so please make sure you edit your pictures before you upload them - they should be 640x480 pixels in width and height and filesizes no larger than 200 kb each picture. We will then move them to (or create if necessary) the appropriate Gallery. Try to be descriptive with your piccy titles as this really helps us and makes the pictures more meaningful to others.

Most of these features require you to be a registered member of the site - this requires a valid email account and follows a fairly simple authentication process.  Please respect that this site is provided on a voluntary basis.
