will probably regret this somewhat rash decision by 6:30!!

- we won't let that happen Rick

- "rash" might be a choice word though......

Mountain bikers, I went at 11.30 this morning to Llandegla for the first time. Thought it was pretty good and easy to get to. Will be taking the missus there soon.

Hope you all had a good time and no injuries.

yup we went and it was good.

myself, ponti(Peter), Ken Morton (and son Terry), Rick and Frank.
The track was very dry and dusty and we had quite a range of bikes - rick had no suspension at all which made a few bits interesting/jarring for him, but he did well. My bike fell apart several times, notably bits that I've recently replaced which probably says something about my workmanship
Went for a pint in coedpoeth afterwards which was possibly the scariest part of the evening....
if the lake was as murky as my beer nobody would go in Having said that we were having a great chat and I could easily have stayed for several more beers...

I think next time I'm thinking of going I'll definately post here first and try to get others up there again - it was good to see you guys - maybe if we arrange it with enough notice and at a better time we'll get a larger turn out and we can go round as a big posse

Maybe Sunday if the wind forecast is deserting us ?

Really enjoyed last night, - good ride, good company, superb weather and good craic afterwards.
By the time me and Terry went and got some grub on the way home and had a couple of cans I was knackered - first time I,ve been in my pit before 11.30 for a long while !

...i'm off my crutches now and poping Ibufrofen (to get the swelling down) like nobodys business. Sunday is likely to be too early for me just yet but yep lets do it....

p.s Mrs Ern was very disappointed I did'nt tell her about this. She may well make an appearance Sunday leaving yours truly with the kids (...traditional relationship my arse!!!)
