well today while some people were most likely doing no wind activites like gardening spending the day with there kids etc... West Kirby Warriors and parents had a great day at hollingsworth. it all started of looking amazing really warm and windy and stayed like that all day.So we rigged up went out in our shorts and rash vests and we were all on the top of or game today here are the results:
6.8=jay gwynn 2nd
5.5=chris chavasse 2nd / charlie lloyd 4th
4.5= 1st sam coldham / olliver bradley baker 2nd
3.5= joash night 1st / tom coldham 2nd
techno 4.5= olliver bradly baker 1st

team winners= WEST KIRBY WARRIORS thats our second 1st this season 2/2 so all good.we are winning so far but it could all change if astbury win next 2 events but if we win next event we are the whole season winners.
so fingers crost we win next 2 events and get a bullet of 1st's

the 6.8, 5.5 etc. are they different classes - i.e. do you race against others in the same sail size ? how does it work ?

The 6.8 and the 5.5 race at the same time however they are 2 seperate catorgories.

cheers we all seem to get better at the racing everytime so if we keep that up and we should be at the top. We even have a zone squad sailor on our team which is oliver bradly baker who sails for north west england basically and race round the uk and is training alot most weekend's which seems to improve his free_style_ and that.you can read a full report on www.t15.org.uk but i dont think its up yet will be soon tho!!!Now its all good that we can do all this but we lost our sponcers at the end of last year so we need a sponcer to get good race sails and race boards any suggestions welcome!!!
