Well if anyone in the south is listening?
I'm off to Hayling tomorrow afternoon after the tide, sail till it gets dark then stay over at inn on the beach and then sat morning before the tide. You can spot in the white van with zorro on the aerial (you'll know if you see it).
I'm the only windsurfing computer literate person in the south or is all the brains in the north?

Sorry I can't join you Cookie-Monster but I now have what is known in the company as the 'black spot', the on-call phone. I have noticed that if I ply the guys at the factory with doughnuts and biscuits during the morning meeting (0900 each day) I get very few calls....
Tomorrow I'm planning a full cooked breakfast for them !
Quote: ...with a 8.8 tide @ 11:30 - maybe an early dart at lunch !!
Looking at Halo - sorry theyr.net - it seems quite specific that it'll be windy in the evening for a few hours tonight at West Kirby ! If it's right then I'm sure the top person at theyr must be a man of the cloth with good connections
Tomorrow looks good for Rhossy or Dinas ?? anyone up for it ?

Well after my last post about wind for last weekend I thought I would leave it a bit later this time
Working tomorow morning but looking at halo and windfinder the gates will be locked as soon after 12.00 as poss (or earlier if I can persuade everybody to "go away") and then it will be straight across to my favorite playground, Rhosneigr!
If your going there I will be sailing - hopefully - jp72 wave with battered 4.2m np zone and a big stupid grin
See ya!

After West Kirby on Friday night (the forecast from theyr.net was right - just an hour out, we got 2hrs on 4.5m sails), Rhosneigr yesterday and then West Kirby today it's already been a great bank holiday weekend for me !!
Did anybody go to Rhosneigr or further afield today - if so what was it like ??
I went out in the Clwydians on my mountain bike this evening and it was still howling then !
If the guy who nearly got swept out to sea at West Kirby today is reading - don't let it put you off - I think we've all had a few moments like that in our windsurfing careers - it gives you a healthy respect for the conditions etc and shows how well the various rescue services work. The beach patrol at West Kirby were top notch again today - thanks lads ! (especially for the lift back in with my kit !)
Now for a Curry and a DVD to round off a top day.........

Well after a seeing the forcast I just had to get out to Rhossy again today. I'm in the dog house after saying I would only be going out once over the weekend - but it was definatly worth it. 4.2m all day (from 12.30 till 5.00 i'm absolutly knackered - and the stupid grin is making my jaw ache - he he) nice jumping swell on the way out with the occasional 10' - 12' face out the back and ridable waves on the way in. The sun was even out for the first half hour and a lot warmer than yesterday and it only started raining a little bit when I was packing up.
All in all just about perfect!
I've prommised to go to the Superbikes at Oulton Park tommorow but I hope the wind stay up for everyone else.

Great session at Dinas on Sunday. We had about 2 hours of 25kts perfect sideshore and solid head high to occaisional logo high waves, before it turned to about 30kts and cross onshore later in the day. Just what we needed! Stoked!
