I am thinking about going up to West Kirby one day for the first time, so I would like an idea of costs.

You'll like the lake if its N thru' S on the westerly side of the compass, you like very flat water, and its not too sunny! If you like bump 'n' jump stuff, come when theres a 9m+ tide, and enjoy 3 hours of it in waist deep water.



People here are super-friendly (being Northeners), parking can be done in the car park (right by the lake), and you buy a ticket for 10 from the very helpful and cheery staff in the cabin (once you get past them you'll have a great time).



If your feeling a little cheeky, park up before 9am and you may just get away without paying...

Is it possible to windsurf on week days?

yes it is possible to windsurf on weekdays. Only very occasionally is the lake closed which normally means you can get on the lake for free!

Christmas/Boxing/New Years day free windsurfing there be. Other wise 10 pounds u must pay. 118 pounds for whole year also.
