A complimentary sport to windsurfing is surfing, the advantages are that you don't carry around that much, just one surfboard, and also when you are getting rumbled around by the waves there isn't a 4m long pole looking to smack you on the head. Before anyone suggest that surfing is for young people, just tke time to check out some of the regular who surf on anglesey, armed with longboards they get long rides that i dream of! so please don't be put off my any macho image bollocks which comes with surfing, just think when there is no wind then there is no need to be bummed, you can just get out your surfboard, even if you don't use it very much it does wonders for your image.
