I used up valuable brownie points to get out of work early and rushed down to West Kirby to find bugger all wind !!

I'd checked out http://www.xcweather.co.uk and there were BIG arrows all over the north west, I'd even rung the lake to be sure and they said it was blowing. Whilst driving there I heard many stories on the news of roads closed due to high winds and the chaos the weather was causing round the country....

I arrived to find everyone coming off the water and rigging big sails !



Luckily after a three hour wait the wind did pick up and we got blasting on 5m sails until it went dark and we couldn't see the lake walls !



it's a funny sport !
