The biggest sail I own is a 6.4, 108 litre board. I'd say I need at least 11 to 13 knots to get planing and I weigh 13 1/2 stone.



I'm looking to buy an early planing board/rig combo and want to know what kind of breezes I can expect to be cruising in?



So come on, for those of you with big kit, what do you sail? and what does it take for you to be happily planing?



No prizes avaliable though I'm afraid.
