cheers for those. i make a triumphant appearance in one - hurray. The one with loads of people in it and the guy gybing in the foreground is wicked - I reckon you could get it in print if you sent it in to a mag. nothing would make me happier than to be able to forward loop, believe me.

I took some pics before I went out, best of which is Pete Tie mid back loop. I'll upload now.

I was stuck in work, reduced to looking at the West Kirby Cam and UK weather Map,for the wind speeds.I really shouldn't do it ,as all it does, is frustrate me.

Were there any Kiters out at Rhossy or had they wimped out ?

I've got a small kite on order ,so should be able to get out when the conditions are ....Interesting.

Hey Suze

what kind of camera are you using?? I take it it is digital? Have you got any filters or other additions on the lens?

Just interested as I am looking to upgrade my 6mp pocket jobbie to something a bit bigger.

Fatboy, it's an olympus c750 ultra zoom. I got this as it's the best digicam with built in zoom lens at the mo (built in lens is 10x optical). You can add on extra zoom lenses, I got a 40x one from the states (which is what i used for these photos). I picked the camera mainly for my windsurfing photography,as its got the zoom, has automatic and manual functions (great for learning photography), has a fast photo sequence taking 3 _frame_s a second for continual action shots and can be put into full waterproof casing for in-water photography (should have used this on the rhossy beach on sunday, a wave got me but not the camera!). Have a serious think about whether you want a digicam they're a real b****r for getting your timing right, basically all digis have a pretty serious delay between pressing the button and the camera going off, to get airs on cam I have to follow a windsurfer, hit the button when they're at the bottom of the wave and pray they do an air AND that the photo's taken when they've launched (hence my inability to get a forward yet!). The flip side is that you can take shed loads of photos as your not using film and some of them will come good let me know if you need more info, sorry if I've gone off on one, you picked 2 favourite hobbies of mine!
