Hi all,

Been a while since I posted on here

I've scored an F2 ride 277 free of charge. Board is pretty immaculado, but I've not had the chance to take it out for a blast yet. I think it's prob 3 or 4 years old. Any views on these? Good, bad or indifferent?

Thanks.

Hi Russ,

My wife used to own a Ride 277. It was a great board and I used to nick it regularly. Takes a decent size sail (7.0/7.5). Fairly quick early to plane.

How did you get it for free ?

Ern.

Well, My buddy used to own a paragliding school. He also used to go out with a very well known UK windsurfing champ whose name sounds very much like a thing you might ring! She scored loads of free gear & used to pass it on to my mate.

When he sold the school, the new owner grumbled about all the old windsurfing gear stored there, so I offered to store it in return for using it. So I've got this F2, an AHD pro 260 waveboard & a bunch of sails. A neat little trade really.
