How is fin size measured? I'm guessing it is length to the tip, but from where? How would I measure the length of a wave fin?

As far as I know, it's a straight vertical line from the highest point to the point that would be level with the bottom of your board (ie/ excluding the bit that fits in the board). There's a good 'fin size selector' programme type thingy on www.boards.co.uk - I think it's under 'windsurfing kit', and then 'accesories', and then, yep - u got it, 'fin size calculator'. Hope that's of use to ya.

Yeah, I already had seen the calculator, but have to measure the fin i have to see how it compares.
