I come in at 14st ish I guess that's about 90-100Kg but with that I hit the big 40 this year and my ajility is so bad that I fell off a Laser! I don't doubt I can get it back again, but I want my board sailing to be fun. One of the best sails ever was at sundown on a TC39 this was a huge board on which even your feet stayed dry. The other was discovering foot steering on my brand new 365 sailboard in the mid 80's. What to go for- Express or Carver...

For learning and ease of use, I would go with the Express as it will be easier to learn on. If you think you will improve quickly only then is the carve a better bet as a fast learner board, but it has less stability and no dagger board to help you get upwind.

Mrs. DiskoKid has heard rumours that Santa will be leaving me a second hand 2001 Mistral Vision 130 as long as I don't forget to leave some nice brandy mince pies out for him and the reindeers. Joy! Was wondering if anyone has owned one of these and if so how you rate 'em as a first shorty.
