How's it going with the windsurfing - started yet?

I defiinitely think that as long as you get the basics sorted, i.e. shown how to windsurf by someone who can actually teach it well then you should be able to progress very quickly.

The kit is sooooo much easier to use & progress on than it used to be.

Here at Poole Windsurfing www.poolewindsurfing.co.uk I have just got someone from complete beginner windsurfer (with no past experience of sailing or other board sports) to being able to use the harness, get planing & now in the footstraps after just a beginners course & 4 lots of 2 hour private tuition.

To get to that sort of level used to take years of regular training (& frustration).

Now is a good time to be getting into the sport, it has everything:
waves
speed
freestyle

I do all the other board sports & windsurfing just has something 'tech' & special about it + there is always something to learn no matter how long you have been doing it for!
