Today is my 98th day of not windsurfing! Without moaning or ranting (too much) this has to be the worst winter ever for wind!

I reckon I've missed out on 2 or 3 days max due to work commitments in those 98 days and not a lot forecast either... Never ever thought I'd hit this many days without a fix, and looks like more to come... I had to postpone my Cape Verde trip due to my new job starting sooner than expected, too!

Since the last time I got out I've acquired a new board (custom from Aus), 3 new sails, a bunch of prototype fins, new lines and a new boom... All unused!

So whats everybody doing to keep sane? Luckily there was some good surf in Jan/early Feb and since then it's been warm enough/snows melted enough to get out on the bikes.

So, if it stays like this who fancies a trip to Tenerife? Thinking April sometime at the moment, just for a long(ish) weekend...

Anybody who fancies it, heading to Llandegla Saturday morning for a quick blast... About 9.30 for a coffee then ride...

my last sail was the 14th of november, beginning to think i've forgotten how to sail. luckily the mtb has kept me going, including riding in the snow up winter hill.

It's been 50 days since my last session, which was at Rhossy, the forecast there has not had a 3* wind guru rating since then. Bad times. I'm home this weekend (KENT) and am thinking of brining my MTB back with me to keep me occupied.
Still, the lack of wind means I've been making progress on buying a van. Going to look at some tomorrow hopefully.
