O.K. no wind or swell and frickin' freezing but plenty of snow about so what to do?

Only just back to work so no chance of flying off somewhere exotic for a quick fix so if you can't beat it join it - just bought myself a snowboard!

Deal from Decathlon in Stockport, board and bindings for £ 149.00 and a pair of boots £ 49.00. Also called in on Shawn for a coffee and a few snowboarding tips as he's just up the road from there.

Any tips for a total newby welcome but looking at youtube it doesn't look that difficult so I expect I should be performing some advanced freestyle tricks by the end of the weekend - or maybee finding out what the delay to be seen in the local A & E is for idiots who should know better! Ha!

Anyway, gotta be better than hoovering!!!!!!!
