Weymouth in august 14 Years, 9 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi!
I'm a spanish windsurfer coming to weymouth for the windsurfing worlds at the end of august.
I'd like to know a little bit about the weather I'm gonna find over there 'cause I'm a bit scared about the British cold
Can anyone ask what temperature approximately we will find there and what wind speed approx.?

How thick should my wetsuit be??

Thanks a lot

Hi, pack a waterproof jacket & sweat shirt just in case. You wont need a winter suit at Weymouth right now, but its not really shorty weather either. A decent 3mm spring suit should be good. Good luck at the Worlds

It all depends on where in Spain you come from and what temperatures you normally have.
British weather in the summer is notoriously hard to predict, 2 weeks ago it was 30deg at 08:00hrs, today it was 13deg.
Winds are usually light to moderate in the Summer.
The best thing to do is follow the weather on the link for Weymouth over the next few weeks and you will see for yourself.
The advice re the waterproof, something warm for the evenings and a Summer wetsuite are sound.

Thanks!

I come from gran canaria, so probably it's going to be quite chilly for me while Britons are wearing shorts!
