I've been looking into buying a new Ahd board and was warned off by a local windsurfing shop, as they have gone bust!!
Does anyone know if this is true?

I've scanned the relevent websites and cannot see anything backing up this suggestion.
Which Shop told you this ?
Anybody else got any further info ?

'Windsurfers World' they mentioned that members of Ahd design team had quit and the rest were on thier way too!!
They were very helpful in the shop but steered me away from buying one.
I'm now thinking of going back to my original idea and purchasing a Fanatic as the 2003 prices seem to be dropping with the new '04 boards in the shops.
Any one know of a really good deal on a 'Fanatic cross 120' ?

There's a (why am i saying this, i was thinking of buying it myself but don't yet have the dosh) second hand one in pristine condition at Robin Hood Water Sports......
I sailed one a while back - it was wicked!

I've just come off the phone to one of the mags and I can confirm that AHD are not only still advertising with them but have also just bought a brand new factory in Tunisia.
I think AHD are very much alive and well.
