Does anybody know whether or not the above mentioned meeting between Sefton Council and interested Crosby users took place. If it did, what was the outcome? Any info would be appreciated, esp from Crosby Windsurfing Assoc. Cheers.

max speakman here there has been no further meetings or information or indeed contact regarding the lake from sefton council we are still in the dark
you will have to take anything alistair roberston says with a pinch of salt as he doesn't like windsurfers
example
i had a call 3-4 weeks ago on a monday morning threatening to smash our containers up if we didn't move them by wednesday of that week as did the uni guys it didn't happen but i ran round like an idiot for a day trying to sort it out
he is a bully with no tact and hopefully in the future he will not be the one we deal with
he still thinks the lake can be run like a five a side pitch renting an hour for windsurfers on say 3-4 on a thiursday afternoon e just doesn't get it
he sat in a meeting and said the disabled sailors will definetly need the lake when its blowing a force 6-7 i pointed it out that most able bodied sailors got of the water above a force 4 he laughed

the guy has no idea and i better stop there on a public forum

so if there is any more news or info i will post it on here
