Board Advice 6 Months, 2 Weeks ago

ok another person asking for more board advice.
I'm looking a board to fit in the middle of my current 2. I've got a 85l Bic Tribal Wave and a Starboard Carve 162 for light wind cruising and for the missus, and hopefully the newly arrived(3wks) sprog, to learn on. Ok i may have changed that by the time the sprogs old enough to lift a sail.
I was thinking something around 105-110l, and more free_style_/wave orientated than freeride. It'll be 2nd hand and probably a couple of seasons old since the new arrival will take more funds than may have been available previously. Current thoughts are something like a Fanatic Skate or Freewave, RRD or JP FSW or even the Twintip or JP FS.
I generally sail at West Kirby or Abersoch, so not particularly big chop and if I pop across to Hells Mouth or Rossy, I've got the smaller board.
I want the board to learn some free_style_, but also want it for my 6.6 or 5.7 and be reasonalby quick planing. I'm 75kg, so would a 97-100l board be a better option or will early planing drop off that quickly over a 110l board?
Any thoughts guys appreciated.
Cheers Bob

O.K. advice from someone who is generaly not too bothered sailing when the lumps are less than 2'
If you like the carve 162 then why not consider the smaller carves. Have sailed the 99, 111, 121 and 131 and all are nice freeride boards for flat water and sure the smaller ones would be o.k.ish for a bit of free_style_ and small waves, loads of them about so no problem finding a good one for the right price.
Something I have also sailed is the JP Exciteride. Good fun for 110-120 size and should be available 2nd hand though more freeride focused.
I also sail an oldish JP free_style_ wave 94 as my big board and although now I am not really happy if I have to rig that rather than my wave board it is still a fantastic board for small wave days or fast blasting. I also had a FW77 and even though JP billed it as o.k. for free_style_ it was brilliant in the waves and for high wind blasting (it vevntually died when pushed a bit too far on a mast high day at Rhossy)
Unless you are really going to concentrate on the free_style_ I wouldn't bother with a full on free_style_ board (had a JP Free_style_ but it was shit for blasting and just too big for the waves).

Bob,
I don't know how much you want to spend but I have a good condition 99ltr Fanatic Cross I use to swear by, before being tempted to the darkside! It's sat in my garage collecting dust, looking for a new owner for £100!

Bob,
If your wanting to spend a bit more, I have an excellent condition 2007 RRD Twintip 102 litres going for £500. For free_style_ you won't find a better board, and being 75kg it'll take the bigger sails no hassle.
Drop me a pm if your interested...
Stu

I'll sail what ever size the lumps are (although mast high Rossy sounds a bit scarey), its more a case of if there's time, wind and i'm near water, I'll try and get out.
Even though I don’t venture into waves too often, as I improve I’ll try a bit more, a more wave orientated board would be better I think, so I’ll probably go more toward the free_style_ wave, as Ken Suggests, rather than the full on free_style_ or freeride. And looking at what you guys are saying 95-100 litres should be about right.
cheers for that bob
