Excellent event, sadly the windsurfing was forgettable due to the lack of wind, however I doubt the Mags will report it that way.
The wakeboard display was amazing, Guys being pulled by winch from wooden ramps across 2 ponds dug in the sand, it sounds lame but you had to see it to apreciate it. One guy came down on the ramp and got a nasty cut on the throat, the landing puddle was only 4 foot deep
MTBs being bounced on the back wheel up ladders with a 3 foot span onto van roofs and then round a similar course, Thundercat racing, excellent commentarys for all disciplines and a great display of the latest windsurfing kit in the marquee.
Over the past 20 years I have been to a lot of events with a similar level of hype and build up but Animal have got the organisation of this, down to a "T". I'd definately recoment it for next year, the only problem is finding somewhere to camp within reasonable Taxi distance so you can hit the party.
The only downside was we had to leave on Sunday just as it loked like the wind was going to pick up for the early part of the week.
