Does anyone have any ideas as to where I can get replacement parts for a Fanatic Gecko.
In particular, im trying to get the board foot padding that fits the recesses.
Ive googled it, searched, pulled what little of hair i have left, and still cant find anyone who can supply this, or at least one that I can trim to fit.
Another question - Who refurbishes booms. The grip/foam has seen better days. Id like to strip it back, clean it up and put on a new one.
Thanks
Andy

Hi Andy, no idea but have a look on ebay for a whole Gecko you can use. Ebay: Gecko. As for the boom I got some grip from MK Windsurfing a few months back. The guy there was really helpful.

hope thats a start for you,

Dan

You can do a decent DIY job on the boom grip, if you're careful and patient. Part of the trick is to chamfer (if that's the right word) the edge of the grip with a razor blade before you fit it.

Bluechip used to sell the grip and explain how to do the repair. I can't see anything on their site though. You could give them a ring and speak to Brian there (always helpful). http://www.windsurfer.co.uk/diyboardrepairs.htm

As to the Gecko bits, have you tried Boardwise? The tend to be good for old bits.
