I'm off to mauritius on 14th!!

Got a bit of a problem...

Club mistral have no free_style_ boards available - and mine has a repair which appears to be failing - from a hole approx 7cm x 7cm x 4cmdeep in it..... on the bottom, near footstraps (damn egyptian baggage handlers!). The repair is starting to develop cracks around it & theres water leaking out... eeek... what the hell do it do? I need to take it away with me in 9 days!!! help.

...if you speak sweetly to Neil at Surf Tech he may be able to get Jonk to do a repair in that time.....

pegleg came up with a good idea - i hack out the knackered repair, dry the board out for 9 days, pack it up (with large hole) - and beg the guys at club mistral to fix it over night for me, so it will be ready on the 1st morning.... sounds good to me - can u think of any probs?

Probs could be if you do it and they refuse to do the repair due to it not being their board & they bugger it up further!!!Who would be responsible ?? I would check with them first via a quick Email if that is possible.

how much was rental from Club Mistral ? What about renting a board in UK to take - FunSport advertise 'Advanced' board only £60 weekly. You'd obviously have to do 2 full wks rental tho.
