I have the seeds of an idea for windsurf voyages starting to germinate in my head. I have no idea where this is going yet but the thought keeps popping up and running free around the space in my head left vacant by my brain. Where can I sail to from here?

This started with the idea I could sail to my parents house from my house, no we don't live in Oxford but Cornwall, pop in for a cuppa and sail home again. I can walk my gear to the beach and sail a couple of miles out round the headland and head on into the port where my parents live, land on the small beach there and walk the 100 yards or so to their house. I have done part of this trip some 18 years ago and the idea tickles me a bit of doing the whole thing. The route would be stunning scenery wise with a number of secluded and not so secluded beaches to drop in on and viewing these places from my board last Friday has fired this idea up a wee bit more. The worry is that once I have done this I will be thinking of other possible voyages to make. Has anyone done or have the desire for a voyage like this big or small? or know of any sites or stories along these lines?
