Well Ernie , I was all up for it till you read a bit more indepth info on it.
Will only work on AT&T at present and you have to activate it with them for it to work, if you import one it WILL NOT work over here and non of the other functions will work either
non user replacable battery, it has to go back to Apple to be fitted.
Looks like O2 have it over here in the UK rather than Vodafone as first suspected so you will have to check coverage
The best alround bet at this time seems to be the Nokia N95 as there are a few phones on the market at this time that will do much the same job, MacUser mag did a test not so long back.
Though it is very sexy indeed !!!!

...well i've just spent the last 30 mins with an iphone in my hands, and I have to say after all the hype and expectation it is way better than I expected - truly awesome. Can't vouch for the phone functionality as it obviously doesn't connect in the UK. But everything else just blows me away...

...and yeah...it's SEXY.

Put it with the all new iMac Ali / glass computer and that will be the business !!
