I eventually got round to fixing this bug at least as far as I can tell.

I've tested it logged in and out and the names now run down the page even if you're not logged in



I hate debugging,



I've also changed the _script_ so that if the news articles on the front page don't have any more text then the title isn't a link - it was annoying the hell out of me !! I could see that people must be clicking the title links because the read count would go up even though there is no more to the article....
