Forcast is all over the place.
Have been looking at getting out on Thursday but the forcast seems to be up and down like the proverbial set of crusty underware.
Got out on Saturday afternoon for a couple of hours because the forcast for Sunday was pretty light but when I checked the stats in the evening they had 22-24kts all afternoon at Rhossy

Yeah - I agree Ken - forecasts are miles out & I think I've been missing out on serious winds as a result!! This week no wind has been forecat at all so far - yet as far as I know, it was F5/6 at kirby all day yesterday - with a decent tide too!!

A prime example - right now - 9kt forecast - its blowing F6 right now! - and has been doing since 5am!!!! Aaaaarghhhhh

Driving me nuts.

My problem at the mo' - do I still take tomorrow off when Guru is only showing f4 or wait till Friday for f6 when Theyr is showing f5 tomorrow an nothing at all for Friday!

Checking with XCweather and windwatchers only adds to the confusion - both showing wind both days.

Aaaaaaaaaaarrrrggghhhh as well!

Well I reckon Friday's the day - XCweather, windguru and I think windwatcher all use the same GFS data (differences are usually just how often/quickly they sites update)

Proudman Lab mesoscale model is usually reliable and that shows naff all for WK and F4 S'ly for Rhossie tomorrow.

Met office and latest GFS show wind for Friday (and some left into Saturday too)

O.K. theyr now agreeing with guru etc. so Friday it is but now the question is where to go?
Rhossy is out (light westerlies ) so might give Prestatyn a go but the tides are not brilliant.
