ouch ,

WIth the destructive powers of a 3 & 6 year old, digitising my films and music is a priority before I have to lash out on second copies of everything.

I've also spent nowt on my PC other than extra storage. The laptop is a 'not quite returned' old company laptop.

...and given I've not spent a penny on apple products other than my 3year old Ipod and a set of Ear buds (rubbish btw), and whats more won;t be sepending any pennys until Apple get their act together on discreet multichannel sound, I'd say I'm being rather tight fisted !!!!!

Ask any marketing manager will tell you until the deal is sealed you got nothing!

I suspect I'm the worst kind of punter....one who expresses a lot of interest then walks away empty handed

Sounded by your post that you bought into it all, not that you wanted to

I found years ago that if you put things on hight shelves the ankle biters cant get at your music or dvd's, however as they get older they BORROW them!! Even worse!

Don't think Apple are interested in multi channel, Mac users tend to be more interested in using a Mac for what it is not what it could potentially do, well that's what I see. If you want a media centre go down the PC route, M$ are interested as they can sell more add ons.

As for asking a marketing manager a question like that, well you have opened up a can of worms there, If the product sells its a good marketing job, if it doesn't is a poor sales job!!!

Due to the recent lack of wind iWindusrf will now be renamed iComputerhelp.
