Hi Shaun (Dave). I'm the 1 with the black Golf. Good to see some new faces at Fleetwood, keep spreading the word so that we don't keep getting outnumbered by the kiters... although, err, I just bought myself a kite for those lighter wind days only of course!!! Cheers. Rich.

Hey Rcut - many thanks for the loan of yr deckplate & mast extension!! you star!!

Guess what - I have a 12.0m kite too - we can cause havoc together!! Have u had any lessons etc? Whats fleetwood like for learning? I'm just about competant going in straight lines, and stay upwind if I'm lucky. Still living in fear of crashing it out at sea though... maybe if i did it more than once every 6 months I'd be a bit better!

Haven't had any lessons apart from a quick 10 mins on a trainer kite . Mine's not been delivered yet so haven't done anything proper yet but was going to try blag it without lessons - against everyones advice Fleetwood seems ideal up the beach from where we were sailing as an hour or so either side of high tide you can go quite a way out and still touch bottom, plus, as you saw, there's always plenty of other kiters about. I prob wouldn't kite in the channel until i was competent.
