Morecambe Bay (the Battery, specifically - my favourite local sailing spot) should be OK in a N Easterly for two hours either side of high tide (11.10). If it's easterly, tho, all bets are off. There won't be any waves tho, unfortunately....
I keep meaning to try Beadnall Bay in Northumbria - but no time this weekend. It apparently works in anything from northerly to southerly and all points east.

Sailed at The Fforyd today. Its a tidal lagoon just south of Caernarfon. Well powered up on a 5.5. Could easily have sailed a 5.0. Its like WK lake but with big chop in the middle and flat water at the edges. You can only sail it 3 hours either side of high tide, but it was worth the trip. Should be the same for tomorrow (Sunday) high tide approx 10ish.

Went to Fraisthorpe in the end. It's a good spot. A reasonable session on a 5.5. One point worth noting is at high tide, the water is up around rocks / sea defences, so best sailed at other tide states I would guess.
