Hi Rich,
Just sent you a PM. Haven't sailed yet this year but just got a winter suit so raring to get back out there. Last year noticed an increase in the number of windsurfers sailing at Fleetwood (almost reminiscent of the 80's), let's hope the upward trend continues.
See you on the water.
Cheers. Rich C

Hi there,

recently moved to the Lytham St Annes area but have rarely seen anyone to sail with. Not too keen on benig the only one out there.

Mostly sail over at Rhosneigr but due to distance and family its difficult to sail regularly. Anyone out at weekends or for few hours in the evenings when the nights get lighter let us know.

Hopefully see you out there.

Hi Goldy

I live in Cleveleys and sail Fleetwood/Cleveleys (wind dir dependant) as much as poss, especially on the summer eve's that were're lucky enough to get wind. As i mentioned above there were more people sailing F/wood last season than i've seen for many years so so there's less chance of sailing alone (which have done many a time). If u want my mob number to txt when thinking of going out then PM me.

Cheers
Rich

Hi, I started sailing at Fleetwood last year for a bit of variety ( usually sail WK) It seems a very safe venue on a westerly, as it is really quite shallow, quite far out, (this is right in front of the kite shop) and there was no problem with difficult shore break etc...you need to get there before high tide though as it goes out quite quickly...my attempts at sailing other spots round the area have mostly been a wash out but will keep trying, i.e. Rossall Point, more wavy and better on a SW, but on the days that I checked it out there just was not enough in the way of wind.....
