Something strange appears to be going on re our favorite weather service, I received an email starting as follows

Dear Theyr.net customer, our new address is theyr.tv. Due to an unfortunate development, we have lost our domain name theyr.net to an associate of ours who has chosen to use it to offer a different weather service. This was done without our consent and without prior notice. We have therefore been forced switch the service you know and love to a new domain: theyr.tv

Then another from Thyre.net asking me to re-login to their improved service, which I did to find a revised layout with apparantly more functionality and the promise of an additional free month to my annual sub_script_ion.

Anyone aware of what is going on and which is the genuine article???????????

Just logged into Thyre.tv to find the old set up, it appears for the time being any subscribers can use both suppliers with their old log-ons.

Don' know how accurate the "new" tv system is but it offers a longer look ahead.

Hope this means we get two great forcast sites and not the shut down of theyr(halo) for 12 months like last time.

The new site (Theyr.net) appears to be way out on the forecasting front; for the last two days it has given F6 over the Midlands which sadly has been wrong. I am sticking with the original site, now named Theyr.tv.

Latest comment from the current site manager added to Slim's posting on the front page. Looks murkier and murkier.
