I see that there might be good wind Monday and Tuesday. Can possibly go out Tuesday. I weigh 56 kilos and have a Mistral Flow 284. Any suggestions on what size sail, anybody? Normally take a size 6.0 in 14-15 knots, been so long since there has been any wind that I've lost my confidence.

I've got so many holidays' left this year I'm trying to get out every time it blows so.....



If you post shortly before you next go sailing give me shout down at WK marine lake (I assume that's where you'll be) and I'll try and help you out. Red Rover 200 - Starboard boards, Arrows Sails, silly grin...etc



Failing that - you are light and your board is floaty so I'd say you'll need a smaller sail than most take out - and that will be totally dependent on how strong the wind is when and IF it arrives!

Windsurfing can be a real confidence thing and the main thing to remember is that at almost whatever level you are .... the more timidly you approach something the better the chance of messing it up ! So be confident! Expect a regular ducking ! and give everything you try 100%.
