You may find this video useful, even though your sail isn't an ezzy.
http://www.ezzy.com/sails/video_panther.cfm
From the pictures though I think you may have the wrong mast for your sail.
Using the right mast makes a huge diffence to the way the sail rigs and its performance. Check the mast stiffness guideline IMCS for the sail agaisnt the mast stiffness (usually printed on the masts' _base_).

Additionally if the mast is old they sometimes stiffen up

Hope this helps

Carl

Its just like Neil says, its under downhauled. Notice how the forward-draft goes very high up the luff, another 4 or 5cm downhaul will flatten it off at the top end of the luff. It will rotate better and will feel much lighter in the hands, plus it will go faster. After putting the extra downhaul on, you will need to add a 2 or 3cm onto your boom length.

Cheers

I'd be interested to know if this solved it for you. I have exactly the same problem! I bought the fat face sail, boom and mast as part of their beginner package. Even though I'm well downhauled the batons overlap exactly as you show. If I put more outhaul then aren't I setting the sail for stronger wind conditions?

Hi George, i've had this problem and it's definitley outhaul and downhaul(but more outhaul in my case).
I would have said putting more outhaul on would suit lighter winds better, but i'm no expert. I think that kind of tweaking is for the advanced boys and i aint in that there ballpark. I choose my sail size _base_d on wind strength and then rig it as it's meant to be rigged.
And actually thinking about it, it must be quite difficult to put too much outhaul on.
The other thing is that if you are picking up used gear etc you may not have the settings so you just have to experiment with mast choice and boom length.
