The Sailing Centre at the Lake in West Kirby is starting an open night for Intermediates on a Monday night, during the season, from 6 till 8; it is aimed at intermediates and people who have just passed their Start Windsurfing qualification. The cost will be £15 for use of the kit and some friendly advice from an Instructor as well as having a bit of a social atmosphere.

If you are interested or know someone who has just started windsurfing and want to come along and practice with people at their level of experience, then give the centre a ring on 0151 625 3292.

What facilities are there and what do participants need to bring with them?
Or is it easier to just call?

You just need swimming gear and old trainers, we will provide the rest, wetsuit and a buoyancy aid. The sessions will cost £15 and you need to have the Start Windsurfing or the old Level 1 ticket. Any new beginners need to to do the weekend course before they start coming along, they run most weekends, if there is demand. If anyone is interested give the centre a ring on 0151 625 3292.

Having completed the Level 1 this is will hopefully help me build up some hours, and give me an idea of what sort of gear to be looking to buy, working in Manchester at the moment and will struggle for a 6.00 start but would be able to make half past if thats not too late?
